Purpose
When is it appropriate to "rise to the occassion"? Is it when you're faced with a revelation? Is it when you're backed into a corner? Maybe its when you realize you have the ability to do more than you thought you were capable of. I'm always exploring what it is I want out of life, what is it that truly makes me happy, the question of what am I capable of? I think "rising to the occassion" is one of two choices when met with opportunity. I've been given the opportunity to go to college, to learn and master my course work, to have a job, a be an officer in different organizations, to start my own student organization, now I'm left with the question of when does the opportunity to "rise to the occassion" turn out to be the wrong choice? And what makes it the wrong choice? Is it other obligations, is it lack of qualifications? What qualifications are needed to "rise to the occassion" if passion is there? None. Which in turn means as long as your passion for something is present then everything else follows. So I've come to the conclusion that seizing opportunity has no limit or repercussion as long as you possess the passion to do it. Do I have the passion for this next opportunity?
