Am I a Bad Person?

So I met this girl in my Arts & Humanities class who's cool as hell and we've started to become friends. In fact, we have World Societies together right after that first class so we walk together from time to time. So basically were walking to this seminar today that replaced going to World Societies and as soon as we get in the door, she asked this police officer, "Whats this seminar about?" and he's like "That's why you need to be in here so you can find out!" I thought he was being madd disrespectul and it kinda made me upset that he talked to her that way. So after the seminars over.....were leaving and I say to her, "Yea that police officer was a real asshole man" and she says "Why do you say that?", I'm like "because he shouldn't have talked to you that way" and she's like "Thats my father."
I called her dad an asshole!!!!!!!!!! Am I a bad person?
