You Don't Look Like You're From Charlotte

I'm sorry city. I must apologize. I took you for granted. You're where I was born, where I grew up, and somewhere along the way....I got used to you and got bored. Then I began to travel to New York, D.C., Maryland, San Francisco, Las Vegas and even resided in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area when I went off to college and Charlotte life was all I had, but for some reason.....no one thought I was from there. I quickly realized how misconcieved my city was There's a misconception that Charlotte is one-dimensional. Just another town in the south. Yet, that's the beauty of my city.......there's so many different sides to Charlotte its impossible to categorize us culturally otherwise you'd mistake us for L.A. in Atlanta by way of N.Y.. Its my responsibility to change people's ignorance and perceptions of Charlotte simply by doing what I've been doing........being myself and repping Charlotte while I do it. I love my city. Now go love yours.
